Oprah & Friends' "The Peter Walsh Show" ran a wonderful story this morning about working motherhood, and balancing the chaos. Peter's guest expert was author Laura Lowell, who's recent book 42 Rules for Working Moms features 42 "to-the-point" rules/tips on little survival tactics for moms in the working world, which is 70% of moms with kids under 18. The first rule covered was the rule that simply tells working moms to "Have Sex" (one of the other rules also suggest that you "Lock the Door" which is good advice.

The calls that came in from working mothers everywhere proved that working mothers are a force to be reckoned with. Not only do they raise their children and manage the household, but they get things DONE!

CLICK HERE to hear the show or for something really fun, just go to Oprah.com and type "laura lowell" in the search box. Happy Searching, and Viva la Working Mom!

Warning: Technology at work!
Introducing the CHUMBY Headstone!

Imagine... instead of those solid, unmoving, depressing headstones... a fuzzy one, with squiggly legs and a "peppy" screen that tells you the time, date, traffic report, and a little about the (tech-no-geek) that is dearly departed.
It's a great way to make an interactive, fuzzy memorial. I'm sure we'll see something like this in the future. It's a little scary, and shameless. While previous cultures carved statues, wrote stories, and made music, web 2.0 allows for some very unusual, and possibly embarasing, forms of expression.
Why Share Your Story?

Understand. Connect. Empower.

It's a given that everyone has a story to tell. You can't go through life without experiencing, thinking and changing.

In telling the telling of that story, we understand who we are, where we come from, and where we hope to go.

In synthesizing the components of the story and sharing ourselves, we gain understanding and perspective.

When others hear these stories, they better understand another's experience and not only broaden their perspective, but establish meaningful, connections.

Through sharing stories, we become better people.

The problem is that people don't have a simple and safe place to tell them... until now. PNN exists to provide you with a platform to be yourself.

By becoming invisible, PNN steps back and lets you share yourself with the world. It' all about you.

If you're about cats, we're about cats
If you're about gardening, we're about gardening
If you're about sharing your family pictures, so is PNN

So invite your friends, family and even complete strangers. Tell them you've found the best place to reconnect with the world through media you control.

Send them to: http://pnn.com/user/login
Or Click Here

Download our Stunning "New Author Kit"

I truly think this new wave of communication is:

"Media of the people, for the people and by the people."
